New blanket of snow Ice crystals on my window Winters dying breath
I search for the sign The first green leaf everywhere Where will it be?
Something just happened! I will remember today! Will you remember?
Rare snowflakes waft past As the sun lingers longer And my spirit warms
Ice and snow parting Winter loosening its grip Color returning
Murmuring of birds Yellow grass under grey skies Ice and snow protest
February ends Winter is fading away Icy grip released
One more winter day. Wind howling through every crack. Spring one day closer.
Sunny winter day. I see you came out today. A good day to play.
